Based in all the evidence we got so far after more than a week, this is what seems to have happened. No one on board is suspected of terrorist ties. No terrorist or group claimed responsibility. Usually terrorist hijack to demand something or kill to make a point. None of this happened. No apparent motive was found. Non of the two pilots seemed to have had any motives at all whatsoever and no evidence of any kind seems to point to them hijacking their own plane for any reason. Noone was suicidal, and none of them seemed to have a motive. The plane change of course coud have been set before takefore as a precaution measure in case of emergency. The plane turned around and then drifted at sea wihout stopping for over 7 hours until running out of fuel. So based on all this, it woyld seem that somethig happened onboard such as soe kind of technical problem that either damaged electronics one by one or had to have electronics disabled manually for safty or fix the problem. The pilot tried to turn around. With no instruments onboard working it would have been impossivle visually at night to figure out where they were. They might have then passed our or unable to govern the plane which then flew and flew until it ran out of fuel. After all, the cause could well be an accident and not fall play from anyone onboard.
