Based on a true story, like in the way all the major events are historically correct but individual scenes are more fantasy than Game of Thrones. Like when Nicolas Cage got saved by that white actor playing a black guys part in World Trade Centre. Good piece of drama though so worth a watch and all the important bits are factually accurate so you might learn stuff. Just be warned they shoe-horn Churchill into 50% because hes the only person remotely involved that people know. And when I say remotely involved, in mean practically not involved.
