Bassem is an INDEPENDENT Egyptian and not Monafeq like both leadership want you to think :) His influence is deeper than Heikal and wider than rest of Media and faster than rumors, and in simple words... hes the secret weapon of the Egyptian layman! Hes much better politician than most in the country now because hes the only trying the impossible: unify Egyptians with whatever costs he can and with the best ever means any can have: humour! Humour is not a usual weapon because in Egypt since ancient times it was the ONLY tool to make social change and present difficult political opinions to grasp by laymen otherwise without any sensorship. And only Bassem got it for now! He could be killed and imprisoned but maybe too popular and will have his own million-man march if someone dared! Every faction is attacking him right now (at those dire times of extreme polarization) and thats his certificate of honesty for me. Hes managed to say the brutal truth to the face of both and thats what making me happy. I am not either with the Army (theyre agents for change and heros but should never be rulers and certainly have no license to kill except armed Jihadis). Nor am I with MB (proved traitors and religious merchants who should never be trusted again on the social change or leadership in this country). I am sure if you show my comments above now to both factions, Ill be damned like Bassem. :) I am not a coward to be afraid of both and dont wish to open my mind and soul for any of them so either can play with it with their propaganda and ask to to submit to their leaderships martyrs/heroism will.... I am independent and I am happy Bassem is. Thanks Bassem Youssef. :)
