Batangueño ka na nagwowork sa Manila/Makati? Ive been travelling to Manila every Monday for almost 3 years and nothing has changed. Pumunta ka sa bus stop ng 4am or 10am. Theres no effin difference! Youre gonna wait for an average of 1 hour para makasakay. And it has gotten worse from the time that a grand terminal was put in SM Lipa. Im not patient on queues, I admit that. But I never got pissed as much as I feel right now. Well, lahat ng pasensya nauubos. Know what I hate most? A lot of people act like theyre uneducated! Sa pagkakaalam ko, pre-elem pa lang tinuturo na ang concept ng fall in line. Just so you know Im in line for an hour, patiently waiting for a bus, then when it came, biglang nagkagulo. Nawala ang pila. May mga grupo ng tao na sumugod mula pa sa kabilang bus liner and sumingit. I wish I could have captured it to justify this testimony. Tulakan, siksikan, takbuhan. Kala mo may artistang dumating. Minsan nga un na lang ang iniisip ko, andito kasi ako kaya sila nagkakagulo. Para lang mapalamig ang ulo ko. But wth, this is getting into my nerves. This is very disappointing! Asan na ang good manners and right conduct? Asan ang discipline? Asan ang peace and order? Asan ang maayos na sistema? I have nothing against people who were not able to attend school for some reasons. But I think the values I cited above are human nature and should be learned even outside school. Bata, matanda, even those older than me! I even saw some fellow Josephians or some people na alam kong may pinagaralan, ung iba sa Makati din nagwwork. Idk if you saw me guys, but seeing you running and pushing people the way others did, made me feel very dismayed. We were from a private and catholic school and youre gonna act same as those barbarics? Youre not worthy to bring our schools emblem. So there, bottomline, after an hour of waiting, hindi pa rin ako nakasakay. Dahil sa mga mukang goons na kung makatulak ay wagas at dahil na rin sa ayokong gawin ang ginagawa nila. Call it pride, I say its a valid pride. Hindi ako nag-aral ng maayos, ndi ako nag-CAT officer para tumandang walang disiplina. I decided just to fall in line again and wait for the next bus. After 30 min may paparating ng bus. The bus was meters away then nagtakbuhan na ang mga tao, hinabol nila ung bus at pinilit sumakay kahit galit na ung kundoktor at pinipigilan sila. This time nairita na ko. Di ko na matiis ung nakikita ko. I walked out. Well, Im not sure if its called walk out kasi wala naman ako pinagwalk-outan. Ni ndi ko nga sure kung may nakapansin na umalis ako except dun sa mga natuwa na makakamove forward sila sa pila bec I left. This is the same scenario every Monday. Idk for other days but Im sure every Monday, ganito ang eksena. To the owners of all bus liners in SM lipa terminal, including that moron who had the idea of having such terminal in one place but got no single idea on how to improve the system, I know youre all doing business. Im not ignorant on business world, and Im telling you, youre not doing a good job! Wag nio naman samantalahin na walang ibang masasakyan ang mga tao kaya no choice pa rin sila kundi pumunta sa terminal niyong bulok ang sistema. Part of every business is social responsibility. So can you please check coz Im pretty sure none of you has complied with. You may call this post a rant, i dont care. But instances like these deserve a rant or even more. Btw I am scheduled for various lab tests today starting 12noon because of some infections. Thats why nasa bus stop ako ng 9:45am, expecting Ill be in Manila by 11:45am at most. So with all these, yes, I missed my schedule. Iniisip ko na lang, sana talaga mas importante ung pakay ng mga taong un sa Manila kesa sa check up ko. Kahit na ang hirap magparesched ng lab tests na un. Well now, I decided to enter SM Lipa to breathe. Bilang ang init din sa labas. I decided to buy buko shake as my comfort food. And after all these rants, life goes on. And yung bulok na sistema ng terminal ng SM Lipa, will go on. If I only have the means (like money), Ill build establishments in Batangas which still care about Batangueños welfare, not just mere business and profits. Yun lang. Matutunaw na ang shake ko. Bye.
