Bathurst: A 23 year old woman has been charged with several offences including Breach of bail conditions, 2 matters of stealing, 2 matters of fraud, Goods in custody and receiving/ disposing of stolen property which occurred in the Bathurst CBD over the past few days. Police arrested the woman at a location in Bathurst yesterday, she was bail refused by police and will appear in Bathurst local Court today. An Iphone and Ipad previously reported stolen have been recovered. A 17 year old youth has been bail refused by police. Police were called to a location in Suttor Street yesterday afternoon and on arrival one of the youths has run from police, a short foot chase ensued and the youth was apprehended. A check of bail conditions revealed that he was in Breach. He will appear in Bathurst Childrens Court today. A 32 year old man has been charged with malicious wounding, causing grievous bodily harm. Police were called to a location in Kelso last Sunday in relation to the incident. It is alleged the man has got into an argument over a debt with another man before stabbing him in the back and fleeing the scene. The victim suffered a collapsed lunch as a result of the injury.The man has been bail refused and will appear in Bathurst Local Court on the 22nd September. Portland A vehicle parked and secured in the school grounds at Portland has been badly damaged by unknown offenders. Sometime around 3pm on the 12th August unknown persons have used a sharp implement to scratch the side of the vehicle. A wallet has been stolen from the centre console of a vehicle which was left parked outside licensed premises in Portland for a short time whilst the owner attended work. A male has been seen running from a location in Jamieson St Portland after setting a motor vehicle alight around 11.15pm last night. Fire brigade have attended and extinguished the fire, however the vehicle has been badly damaged. It is believed an accelerant was place on the front seat and the fire lit.
