Currently working with some of the most respected acts in contemporary dub music, Cian has performed live with Mad Professor, Zion Train, Iration Steppas, Mungo’s Hi-Fi, Dubwise, Cornerstone Roots, Dubkasm, and Radikal Guru. His vocal tracks have been remixed by Manasseh, RSD, Phaeleh, and Indigo. He was lead vocalist and a founding member of Irish reggae group Intinn. They were a mainstay of the Irish festival circuit and over the last 7 years playing across the UK, France, Spain and Italy. In 2010 Intinn were declared “Best Upcoming Reggae Act in UK and Ireland” at the One Love Festival in London.. Cian has featured both live and in the studio with globally renowned traditional Irish group De Danann. Recently returned from a tour of Scotland, England, Germany, France and Poland with Radikal Guru, he has also performed live in New Zealand, in India at the MTV Sunburn festival and in Johannesburg, South Africa. Known for his vibrant onstage presence and impassioned voice, Cian’s shows voyage through reggae rhythms to bouncing dubstep, interspersed with soulful acapella moments. This is an artist rooted deeply in the Celtic spirit, his songwriting is infused with insight and positivity, carrying forward the flame of conscious music. In 2002, Jazz Club Hipnoza (jazzclub.pl) was opened in neighbouring Katowice, and with it the possibility to support many Polish and international artists. In 2004, he co-founded Silesian Banquet Union and moved to Dublin and the same year together with DJ Stu, he set up Breakology. Later on, he has begun to co-operate with Afronova, Breakdown, Choice Cuts and Mr. Whippy Soundsystem. Apart from DJing and stage setup, he is a promotor of GO4IT, Sure Shot and Jammin as well as co-promotor of M*A*S*H - regular events in Dublins various venues. He also designs posters for those nights. He had the opportunity to perform at Dun Laoghaire Festival of World Cultures every year between 2006 and 2010. He also DJed at Life Festivals and Electric Picnic. He is open to a massive variety of music influences and tries to show it in his sets. The fusion of various music styles mashed and cut together with unique styles of mixing, brings a style all his own. Matjazz completed qualifications in music production and technology and is currently exploring the field of motion graphic design. Dee is one of the founders of “Experimental Baggage” DJ team. There are countless collaborations and projects in his pocket including amazing “Dee & ShivaLine” (Indian BigBeat/2008/). Preferring such styles as Funk and Funky Breaks, Dee has recently showed some outstanding development in the genre of Minimal Techno. As a true DJ and record collector, Dee shows no respect to any media apart from vinyl. + BIBA https://soundcloud/bibson Krzysztof Bartecki aka BIBA comes from a small town besides Poznan - the capital of electronic underground music in Poland in the early 90s. Biba was always fascinated with music. Fascination became realization and he became a DJ. He was associated and identified with the minimal techno stage in Poznan,he played with many techno veterans like Jeff Mills, James Ruskin, Joey Beltram, Heiko Laux, Surgeon, Redshape, Pacou, Recyver Dogs ( Mad Max, Steve D.), Allan Oldham aka Dj T-1000, Phil Wells of Subhead, Jason Leach of Subhead, Tobias Schmidt, Dave Tarrida, Bill Youngman, Neil Landstrumm and the list goes on..He has few collaborations and projects on his account, he was a Co–founder of R.A.F.Crew project where he was organizing local legal and illegal parties bringing a mix of electronic sounds (Minimal, Techno, DnB, Breakbeats, Oldschool, Dubstep). In 2006 he connects with Techno.pl, HCL, Analogen organizing even more parties. At the end of 2005 one of his dreams came true and he became a resident in the legendary Eskulap Club supporting techno stage signed by TRESOR BERLIN. Music that he presents in his sets is very diverse and dependent on the nature of the event. Although these days he feels best in minimal with some soft deep bass, hint of vocals and industrial sounds. On the night BIBA will be a guest of the ABSYS RECORDS label and you might be in for a surprise as he will be performing for the first time in Dublin.
