Battleground Texas Arturo, Greg Abbott tried his best to defend $5.4 billion in public education cuts. Thankfully, today he lost. A district judge sided with more than 600 school districts, ruling that these cuts violate the Texas Constitution. This is the legacy that Abbott and the Texas GOP want to leave behind: that they fought against Texas schools and failed to give them adequate resources to shape the future of our state. Arturo, what will your legacy be? It can be as simple as $10 a month. Make a monthly donation to join Battleground Builders, the group of supporters that sustains this movement, and well send you a BGTX magnet to say thanks. We rely on Battleground Builders to keep us going day in and day out -- for clipboards and pens for our 26,000 volunteers, and paying the bills that keep the lights on as staffers work late into the night. Builders are also invited to join me and our founder, Jeremy Bird, on a quarterly strategy call to talk about where were headed. Our choice in this election is crystal clear. Wendy Davis filibustered the education cuts in the first place, fighting with every fiber of her being to stop this from happening. She lost that battle, but now the courts are proving her right. Meanwhile, Greg Abbotts about to take his anti-education fight all the way to the Texas Supreme Court. He just doesnt get it. When you commit to a monthly donation, youre fighting back against Republicans like Abbott, and helping build a Democratic foundation in Texas for decades to come. Leave a Texas legacy -- become a Battleground Builder and claim your magnet: https://donate.battlegroundtx/Define-Your-Legacy Thanks for being on the right side, Jenn Jenn Brown Executive Director
