Bay Area thrash metal legends Death Angel have just concluded a lengthy winter/spring North American tour alongside Finnish melodic death metallers Children of Bodom and Faroe Islands folk metal unit Týr. The journey came to an end this past Friday and Saturday (3/28 & 29) with back-to-back shows at Irving Plaza in NYC. During the band’s set last night (which we rocked out to, pics to come), Death Angel revealed that they will perform a not-so-secret headline show at Queens, NY’s Blackthorn 51 (80-12 51st Ave) tonight (3/30) as part as the venue’s ‘Sunday Slamfest’ with additional appearances by Dehumanized, Magus Beast, Martyrd, Fate Breaks Dawn, Usurp The King, Surgical Strike, The Last Alliance, Omissionary, and Moniasin.
