Bay City once again will you allow money and intimidation to determine the direction of your City? The current election involving rewriting your City Charter has the PAC wanting change spending an amount of about $25k dollars as compared to the citizens who have elected your Mayor not once but twice by majority spending about $2130 dollars. Can you not see the determination in eliminating a Mayor that has brought transparency, accountability, credibility to your City Government? The only way to overcome the $$$ is with a vote. During my two campaigns for Council I heard repeatedly from citizens that this is as good as it gets and its always been this way. I knew better and refused to accept that. I knew better! That is why I now reside in Bastrop, Tx. as does my wife , a Bay City resident for 39 years.
