BayFest, Oahus premier family festival--scheduled for October 17-19--has been canceled due to emergency preparations in advance of Tropical Storm Ana. Tropical Storm Ana is currently tracking a direct path to hit the Hawaiian Islands this weekend. As Ana trends toward hurricane strength, the safety of military and civilian personnel is the first priority of Marine Corps Base Hawaii. As the state of Hawaii readies for its second large-scale storm this hurricane season, MCB Hawaii must prepare for emergency operations, as needed, on base and throughout the state.
