Be Aware Posted by Thornhill Arms Calverley Its a bit of shame were having to do this update but its important!! This lunchtime, a woman came into the pub just before food service finished - she was on the phone to her boyfriend telling him to hurry up to order food. We put menus out for them. She ordered a drink and paid with a fake £20. Fortunately one of our staff recognised her from a couple of weeks ago when she did the same thing. He told her it was fake and surprisingly she feigned surprise saying her boyfriend had drawn it out this morning. Suffice to say she necked her drink and left!! She is of medium height & build with shoulder length, slightly wavy brown hair and a husky voice. She shouldnt be allowed to get away with this. Please share this with as many people as possible as Im sure pubs arent the only targets.
