Be Patient – Our Salvation Depends On It: If everything always went smoothly in our lives – we would never know our need for a Savior, nor would we learn to be patient. Sometimes God allows us to go through trials and tribulation, for when we do, our characters are being perfected for heaven. Being in “limbo” can be one of the most difficult places to be – and where our patience is put to the test! It’s difficult not knowing what God’s plan is for our life or which way to go. But getting ahead of the Lord is not wise and will surely end in disaster! We all need patience and it is only by experiencing trials and hard times, that we learn how to be patient. Only by enduring do we learn to endure. Waiting upon the Lord not only teaches patience, but also obedience. There is but one-way to acquire patience, and that is through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Being patient is very important to God - in fact, our salvation depends on it! The Bible says in Psalm 37:7-9, Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him . . . those who wait on the Lord, They shall inherit the earth. Text: Rom 5:3, 1 Corin 13:4-5, Ps 27:14
