Be Steadfast, Not Wavering (James 1:6 NKJV) But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. The prayer of the saints ride on the wheel of faith. Faith is not supposed to be a mystery where the children of God are concerned. God wants you to know how to channel your prayer by faith so that your desired result can come speedily. The God-kind of faith that makes prayer to be effective is always steadfast and consistent in its operation. It does not waver in any way. Rather, it is consistent and stable at all times. How do you develop this kind of faith? Faith only comes by hearing the Word according to Romans 10:17. Make sure the word of God stays before your face while you are praying and after you have prayed. Prayer is designed to be based on the word of God. Your focus should be on the word of God that you based your prayer on, while you are waiting for the desired result. The devil will always want to shake your confidence in prayer. Do not give in to his tricks. Let the Word of God be your guide. Let Jesus, the author and the finisher of your faith lead you to a place of great success in prayer. Guide your prayer life by staying in the Word before you pray, during prayer and after you have prayed. DAILY SCRIPTURE READING: James 1:1-27
