Be careful little eyes what you see It is very important to be careful what you see. Once you have seen something, you cannot unsee it. You may forget it, but you have still seen it. You can still be reminded of it. There is a little kids song that talks about this. When I was little I would sing it in Sunday school, but it was really annoying because we sang it all the time. The thing though, is that we choose what we see and what we dont, for the most part. Yes, there are things that we have no choice, but for the most part we choose what we see. What we choose to see can have a big impact on the world. If we choose to see only the bad things in this world, we will stumble. We will lose hope, but there is hope for the world. If we only look at the good in this world, we will loose sight of reality. We will also, have to keep our eyes shut for most of the time if we are to block out all that is bad. What we need to do is see God in his holiness and see man in his sin, but love them each. The only way we can see man properly is if we are also looking at Christ. When we look at Christ we see that man is in desperate need of love. Christ is this love. We may struggle with something or look at the wrong things, but the thing is Christ loves you and wants you to be looking at what is good. He wants you to be able to see both bad and good, but choose to focus on what is good. What you see is what your heart and mind will dwell on. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. - Philippians 4:8 Seek these things out. Look at these things and remember that they are good. These are things that will make your heart glad.
