Be careful of besmirching a cause, and becoming like those that cry wolf and its not even a wolf in disguise. I see some are posting about the two Bronx officers shot tonight and the postings from the earlier breaking reports were very sketchy and minimal in details, but later reports are stating it was during an investigation of a robbery call and the two robbers that the officers must have happened upon exchanged fire with them, striking one in the back and the other in the elbow. Horrible and not to downplay it, but folks come on, what happened sadly falls in line of the duties of police officers as well as daily risks and especially in certain high crime areas. This does NOT appear at this time to be a part of the specific targeting of police. Yet now Im of course seeing the media driven panic folks posting this and some of those posting comments...watch yourselves with that Black animals and bastards, okay! Or the postings of this is war...I hate irresponsibility from ANY news sources that fuels and irresponsibly posts things that lead to misinterpretation because perhaps some are rushing to be the first ones to share breaking news. I am glad to hear that the officers injuries are not life threatening.
