Be careful when you fly with Turkish Airlines - if you have a problem do not expect help! I wont fly with them unless I have no other choice! Here is what happened to me....! Hello, 1. I live in Singapore. I have used Turkish Airlines to fly from Singapore to Bulgaria once in 2013 and now in Sept. 2014. First time I was disappointed from the Cabin crew - a bit of a arrogant behavior and low level of english skills - it happens, but this time I experienced the same. 2. However,what shocked me now is the behavior of your ground staff. I arrived at Attaturk Airport ~6am on 12 Sept14 with TK0067. We got out of the plane at ~6:15. There was a very long queue for the transit zone. I was supposed to board TK1027 at 7:30 to Sofia. In transit zone I went to WC etc - I had to run and managed to get to the gate at 7:16. The bus for the plane had just left. There was a very old man there who had just arrived and missed it as well. Obviously rushing we asked the staff there to try and check if there is a way to still get us on the plane - we saw how the bus left, hence there was enough time to find a solution. The person was not willing to talk or listen. Completely arrogant and disparaging the guy showed us the line on the ticket that gate closes 7:15. It was already 7:17am. weve asked to call the radio or at least try to help us - no.He said we should not be bothering him as it is our problem. The old man was shaking not knowing what to do and the guy did not even pay a bit of respect to his age or try to somehow sympathise. He told us to go and find the Transfer Desk and laugh at the fact we cannot understand why he doesnt even want to call the radio and try to help us! He could have at least pretended...or help us find the transfer desk or whatever! Totally awful attitude!I went to the desk I was told by this person at the gate - from there I was told I need to find another desk...on my way again now to look for the right Transfer Desk. At Transfer desk I was told there is nothing they can do as I had one hour transfer time, which is enough.Understand. Ive asked for help - response was it is my problem and should sort it out on my own, not their problem anymore. Ive asked to meet the Supervisor - response was there was nobody and I should be going on my way as it is my problem. I demanded - the lady told me to wait at a side of the desk where there were people supposingly waiting to meet the Supervisor as well - waited for 10mins-these people were waiting for the free phone!!she hasnt even tried to find her Supervisor and lied to me! I went to her again - obviously disappointed that Im still there she took me to the office right next to desk and introduced me to a young male supposingly the office manager. Fully arrogant again, that man asked me whats my problem and why am I bothering them!?!? He showed me my flight details and again told me it was my problem, I need to go find the sales office and fix the problem on my own. Ok, not even a sense of sympathy or desire to help, again!I understand I have been late and I will pay if needed, but that is awful attitude to a customer after 10h of flight who missed his connection and will have to stay at the airport for the next 8-9 hours! I was calm and only wanted understanding and some help, but that young man was raising his voice at me saying I can talk as much as I want, but he wont listen to me and turned his back on me! I wanted to speak with his manager as his behavior was simply unacceptable! He laugh and showed me a building saying Im free to go and talk to whoever I want in the Airline HQ over there?!? I travel a lot - such behavior I have never seen - it is outrages!... 3. At sales desk-the price with discount I was provided was still higher then what I can find on the web for the same flight!?.. 4. My luggage-the person at the Luggage desk was barely able to speak english! He requested for my luggage when I wanted it to be transferred to my next flight. His colleague apologised to me saying he couldnt understand me due to his bad english, there was nothing they can do anymore and I should leave!
