Be encouraged today. The enemy has tried all he could to defeat you. He has exhausted all of his resources and walked away thinking that hes beaten you. But boy was he wrong. You have a support system that refused to see you go under. He thought he had you when you got layed off but your support system rallied together and financially supported you until you got a new job. He thought he broke you when your marriage started to fall apart, but your friends gathered around you and stood with you. He just knew he beat you when he hit you with depression but your family pulled together to encourage you, support you and lift the weight off of your shoulders. You won and he lost. Today challenge yourself to see open your eyes and see the enemies back as he walks away from you in false victory. Hes lost again. Then Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there; and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead. However, when the disciples gathered around him, he rose up and went into the city. And the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe. (Acts 14:19-20)
