Be financially independent. You must have multiple streams of income. In Ecclesiastes 11: Send your grains across the seas, and in time, profits will flow back to you. But divide your investments among many places, for you do not know what risks might lie ahead. When clouds are heavy, the rains come down. Whether a tree falls north or south, it stays where it falls. Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant. If they watch every cloud, they never harvest. ....you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things. Plant your seed in the morning and keep busy all afternoon, for you dont know if profit will come from one activity or another - or maybe both. *A Note from Sandra Dee: Do not depend on any ONE source to bring you profit. If your one source of income somehow is depleted or diminishes all together, where would you be? How would you live, take care of your family..etc.? God created all of us with special gifts of which were meant to be used as streams of income. Being poor for some, is unfortunate and unavoidable,...maybe,...or is it? I firmly believe that we all have the ability, the knowledge and skill set to create another stream of income, if not multiple streams. P.O.O.R. ~ Passed Over Opportunities Repeatedly. If you overlook and ignore your gifts and talents, then you are overlooking and ignoring a stream(s) of income. MANY of you, many of us have so many talents, skills and knowledge, but you are letting them go unnoticed and unused. But some of us continue to complain that we are SO TIRED of being broke and behind on our bills. Complaining that we dont have enough money to enjoy our lives, we cant afford to do this or that. I believe that we all have talents that we can use for profit and even income. I can pull three people here, in Facebook, off the top of my head that are Authors. Theyve taken their talents of writing and had books published. I know of someone else in here that has used their talents for cooking to make money. Someone else has a tremendous talent for art and sketching, and he has made a huge business selling his art work. These people have created their own alternate streams of income, outside of their 9 to 5 job. But what if their jobs layed them off for whatever reason? Guess what, they still have an income flowing from their other streams. I know some of you are seamstresses, and can sew your behinds off. Others of you have degrees, and can probably make money tutoring, starting a childcare business. etc.. I know two men in FB that have their own computer repair and maintenance business. Possibilities are ENDLESS if you use the gifts that God created within you. There is NO reason why any of us should be broke at any given time. And thats just MY TWO CENTS .
