Fishing my best spot for Lake Trout was not cooperative and only catching two was ready to leave but a snowplough came by and while getting to leave caught two more. This told me that the noise made by the plough must have moved suspended fish. So what I did was to go to the base of the point and drove my truck back to the fishing hole and caught three more. At that time we were allowed five fish each and as there was two of us we needed three more so I drove down the other side of the point and picked up another. We knew that the snowplough was coming back so we waited and yes when it drove by we caught three more giving us our limit plus one we released. Generally earlier on the freezing process making ice creates the noise which keeps the fish moving but later when you get a foot of ice or more fish are much harder to catch but this method has been successful in providing fish for the table and it does work. 11.
