Beach and Swimming Safety Most us would love to have a weekend outing in beaches, swimming and playing with children at sea shores. In summer weekends, many prefer seas as weekend activity. What safety precautions you take while you are at beach or at swimming pools? Here are some tips 1.Watch children, especially younger ones, because they are not aware of the risks. Dont get engaged with reading, swimming, browsing your mobile etc when they accompany you. 2.Plastic water-wings and rings are not designed to keep swimmers safe. Never replace them with life jackets. 3.Be sure that the kids are always wearing life jackets when playing in or next to water or even on boat. 4.Avoid swimming alone. Its preferable to have someone with you who could provide first aid to you. 5.Do not use water-rings of any types if the water is deep. 6.Never leave a young child unattended even for a moment near water and do not trust a child’s life to another child; teach children to always ask permission to go near water. Seconds count in preventing death or disability. 7.If you have a pool, secure it with appropriate barriers. Remember but barriers are not alternative for your constant supervision. If you are a watercraft user Make sure that the watercraft is safe to ride and wrap the lanyard around your wrist. People without experience and the children below legal age should not ride it. Avoid riding them in swimming and diving areas, lanes of ships or fishing vessels and areas of marine activities. As well, dont make acrobatic exercises endangering your safety and safety of others. we welcome your opinions and feedback.
