Bear Dingo needs a forever home. Not just *any* home, of course! However, dingoes are very similar to Shibas, Jindo, and some of the other Ken breeds. A responsible Shiba owner (or past Shiba owner) should do well with Bear and would really enjoy him. Bear can NOT live with cats (he *will* kill them), nor other male dogs. Im sure hed also happily take out birds or other small critters, as well. He is, however, great with kids (his original home had a 3 yr old who raised him) and super loving with people he knows. (He can be a little timid on first meeting someone, though...not a great fit for someone whos always got strangers coming & going.) He loves to come inside, but cant be in much here unless hes crated, due to the cat and male dog thing. He requires a very secure fence when outdoors--with a top of some sort. Hes a remarkable climber! Hell also exploit any gaps or other weaknesses. As you can see, he needs a special sort of person to be His Person. If you think that might be you, we are taking apps for this awesome guy. (Dont let it scare you...its the short form. ;-) A donation towards his neuter (already done) would be nice, but my main concern is finding the perfect fit--so the only fee is gas money to deliver him--within reasonable driving distance of Ohio,USA (of course we want to see how he meshes with you, that your fence is secure & that youre sure you want him, before we leave him there). We also require him to be returned to us if you cant keep him for some reason. He is an amazing, one-of-a-kind dog (especially in this country!) and will make the right person very happy.
