Bear Yuba Land Trust improved the flow on the Hirschman Trail near the pond earlier this week. We had five volunteers show up along with Bill and Shaun, our Trail Coordinators. The City of Nevada City provided us with a culvert and fill material. Near the pond, trail users were cutting the trail and avoiding using the bridge. We put a culvert in where people were cutting the trail and raised the grade of the trail. We will be putting rock down on top of the fill to hold it in place. A sincere thanks to all of our volunteers!
