Beard tips from The Captain, learn from my mistakes! 1. I dont wanna sound like a salesman here but start oiling! The sooner you give your beard nutrients, the faster it will reach its potential. The hair will grow thicker, faster and softer. The earlier the better. Rather start with healthy hair than try treat damaged hair later 2. When you start blowdrying, use oil first to create a heat barrier to stop the heat damaging the hair 3. Dont even think about trimming for the first four to five months, let your beard find its natural shape and then work from there 4. Dont let anyone but a top barber trim your beard, you WILL destroy it at some point (I learnt the hard way) 5. Use a boars hair brush, denmyn or wide toothed wooden comb on your beard. Hair brushes will pull hair out 6. Be a man!! The Captain
