United Nations’ unique blend of screamo, grindcore and post-hardcore mixes wondrous melodies with blast beats, screeching vocals with sardonic lyrics and themes and an overall huge sense of malice and contempt for all of the things they despise. While the majority of the album is intent on being as manic as possible there are also times when it holds itself back and let itself have passages of unsettling calm and quite before it tears the leash off and runs amok again. United Nations has stepped it up in almost every conceivable manner, particularly from a songwriting perspective and simply put if their music were to be harnessed as an alternative source of energy then houses would instantaneously explode.
