#Beating_the_odds [CF-Venting] CF has no leniency or compassion. It just seems there is no lessening of symptoms, no reduction of this disease, just on-going suffering and the slow degradation of hope [that one day soon we will have a cure]. It can get dark sometimes, constantly battling ones emotions fuelled by sleepless nights and fatigued days. The worst, is watching your child deprived of oxygen because the mucus is thick, sticky and too stubborn to move and blocks off the airways so Physiotherapy can be endless. The coughing is so loud and ferocious at times, it makes my head throb so you dont have a chance in hell of sleeping anyway [not that I want to during these times]. And of course theres the weight situation.. shes so damn frail. So, this is me. A little angry, a little tired, feeling a little defeated.
