Beautiful Hadith ..A Hadith which proves that killing a muslim is very dangerous. How Dangerous is to kill a Human in General and Muslim in Particular and A Person who bears witness of Kalima (Shadah) and Prays.Let Us See Some Ahadiths 1.The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said:The extinction of the whole world is less significant before Allah than killing a Muslim man (unjustly) [Narrated by Abdullah bin Amr (Radi Allahu Anhu)] [Sunnan Nasai Vol 5 The Book of Fighting Hadith no 3992] 2. It is narrated on the authority of Usama b. Zaid that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) sent us in a raiding party. We raided Huraqat of Juhaina in the morning. I caught hold of a man and he said: There is no god but Allah, I attacked him with a spear. It once occurred to me and I talked about it to the Apostle (may peace be upon him). The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Did he profess There is no god but Allah, and even then you killed him? I said: Messenger of Allah, he made a profession of it out of the fear of the weapon. He (the Holy Prophet) observed: Did you tear his heart in order to find out whether it had professed or not? And he went on repeating it to me till I wished I had embraced Islam that day. Sad said: By Allah, I would never kill any Muslim so long as a person with a heavy belly, i. e., Usama, would not kill. Upon this a person remarked: Did Allah not say this: And fight them until there is no more mischief and religion is wholly for Allah? Sad said: We fought so that there should be no mischief, but you and your companions wish to fight so that there should be mischief. [Sahih Muslim :: Book 1 : Hadith 176] 3. A hermaphrodite (mukhannath) who had dyed his hands and feet with henna was brought to the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him). He asked: What is the matter with this man? He was told: Apostle of Allah! he affects womens get-up. So he ordered regarding him and he was banished to an-Naqi. The people said: Apostle of Allah! should we not kill him? He said: I have been prohibited from killing people who pray. AbuUsamah said: Naqi is a region near Medina and not a Baqi. [Narrated by Abu Hurayrah (Radi Allahu Anhu)] [Sunnan Abu Dawud :: Book 41 : Hadith 4910] 4. It is narrated from Sumait Bin Sumair that Imran bin Hussain (Radiallahuanhu) said: Nafi bin Azraq and his companions came and said: You are doomed, O Imran! He (Imran) said : I am not doomed They said :Yes you are. I said :Why am I doomed?They said : Allah says: And fight them until there is no Fitnah(disbelief and polytheism, i.e, worshipping others besides Allah), and the religion (worship) will all be for Allah alone (Surah Anfal 8:39) He said :We fought them until they were defeated and the religion was all for Allah alone.If you wish,I will tell you a Hadith that I heard from the Messenger of Allah(SAW), They said :Did you really hear it from Messenger of Allah? He said :Yes I was with the Messenger of Allah (Salallahualihi Wasalam) and he had sent an army of the muslims to the idolaters.When they met them they fought them fiercly, and they (the idolaters) gave them their shoulders(ie turned and fled) .A man among my kin attacked an idolator man with a spear, and when he was defeated he said: I bear witness that none has the right to be worshiped but Allah I am a Muslim. But he stabbed him and killed him. He came to the Messenger of Allah & and said 0 Messenger of Allah. I am doomed. He said What is it that you have done? one or two times . He told him what he had done and the Messenger of Allah said to him:Why didnt you cut open his belly and find out what was in his heart?He said :O Messenger of Allah, I wish I had cut open his belly and could have known what was in his heart? He said :You did not accept what he said and you could not have known what was in his heart!The Messenger of Allah remained silent concerning him (that man), and a short while later he died. We buried him but the following morning he was on the surface of the earth.They said:Perhaps an enmyof his disinterred him So we buried him (again) and told our slaves to stand guard.But the following morning he was on the surface of the earth again then we said:Perhaps the slaves dozed off.So we buried him (again) and stood guard ourselves ,but the following morning he was on the surface of the earth (again) .So we threw him into one of these mountain passes. The prophet was told about that and he said:The earth accepts those who are worse than him,but Allah wanted to show you how great is the sancity of La Illaha Illaallah. [SUNNAN IBN MAJAH Volume 5 Hadith No 3930] (Classified as Hasan by Shaykh Zubair Ali Zai Hafizuhullah and Sahih by Shaykh Albani Rahimuhullah) Comments By Shaykh Zubair Ali Zai Regarding This Hadith: 1-->The Khawarji and other innovative sects in Islam emerged due to their misunderstanding of Islam... 2-->The religious knowledge of the Companions of the Prophet and their understanding was complete as they learned Islam directly from the Prophet .So in the matter in which Muslims disagree especially in the matters of faith, importance should be given to the understanding of the Companions and all the matters should be understood in the light of their teachings... 3-->Whoever claims to be a Muslims his claim should be accepted and he should be treated as a Muslim .However if he commits something that takes him out of Islam ,then he will be punished only after having passed a verdict of being an apostate against him.But charging one with infidelity merely based on doubt or suspicion is a great major sin... ************************** May Allah Guide Us All To The Right Track (AAMEEN)
