The next step is waiting on UAB/Childrens Hospital to determine the parameters for their study and how to dispense the medication. Remember that this is a 5 year research study, not a clinical trial. It is our expectations, and the expectations given to lawmakers and UAB that anyone who qualifies for the study will be allowed to participate. A clinical trial would limit that number, this bill nor state lawmakers intend for that to happen. UAB has stated that they want to study why and by what mechanisms makes these treatments work. There are already clinical trials taking place at 5 separate locations across the US. UAB is the first, to my knowledge to look into the why plus uses and benefits of CBD Oil. Carlys Law allows an acceptable amount of THC to be present in the medicine, up to 3%. As we believe that THC mush be present in the medication for it to work properly. It is the bills intentions to allow participants of the study to use extracts(oil) such as, but not limited to Charlottes Web... Just beautiful....#hope! Chris Clark
