Beautiful Taiping stay-cation. Lake Garden trees reaching out to the water. Watched for raindrops where My uni mates and I filmed The Rain Kings, a documentary about gambling on the rain. Ate at the best western cafe in Taiping at Panorama Hotel. Banana split oozing with honesty n simplicity, local coffee with locally made creamer n sugar, simple fish n chips with an unknown dipping sauce. And tapau leaf wrapped charkueytiau, 2 types of cheecheongfun ( big fun or small fun, both are fun ),satay babi and many types of kuih. And sat in a antique chair ... The base is square and diagonally forward so you cannot keep your legs closed ... Not for ladies in short skirts ;)
