Beautiful day! Theres a story in the bible about a woman with an illness; she bled for twelve years. As a result, she was known to the community as unclean. Imagine, twelve years of searching for healing only to exhaust your resources. Back in her day, women were not allowed to approach men, especially if youre unclean. Her sickness drove her to the desperate act of touching a man in public. My God, I can imagine how many rituals and laws she tried to perform and follow to provoke a God she may have feared to heal her. The woman simply heard of a man with an environment of grace that surrounded Him. An environment that invited the least of these to explore. The woman simply noticed the ways of the Holy Spirit upon Jesus and cooperated. It wasnt until she responded to an opportunity that no one else could see that she was healed and once she experienced her miracle, her story spread. Testimonies are powerful and theres nothing more effective in drawing others to Jesus and in relating to others than sharing what Jesus has done in our lives. It gives us a hope and encouragement in a time of desperation and for the bold, like the woman in the story, it will cause you to reach out by faith and take your healing whether it be spiritual or physical.
