Beautiful sunrise to start my Friday! Going to be a wonderful day to get out on the mower and sing to the birds! LOL Another State Fair is in the books at Havens’ Farms! The littles had a wonderful time and came home tired and happy last night. Grandpa and I were tired but wouldn’t trade it for the world! As I watched my family at the fair yesterday, interacting and working side by side, I just had to say a silent prayer of thanks for this “country” life we have been blessed with! Priceless! Jacob and Alyson were so sweet with the little ones that came through the barn looking at pigs. They let them step in the pen and “pet” their pigs. It warmed my soul to see them sharing what they get to experience with others. I also was so happy to see Paula Thomas and her son. I had not seen her since she was a little girl. She is still just as beautiful and sweet as she always was! My sister was there watching her grandkids too and her hug felt so good! What an amazingly wonderful day! Jen, Sam, and I came home to do the chores after the show while the littles, Beth, and Kevin stayed to load out the pigs and bring the rest of the tack home. Today will be a day of unpacking and then rest for the kids. Life is good! Hope you find the joy in your life today!
