Beautiful words of Jerry Bellmeyer The best Boss and friend a person could ever have. This guy gave me so much insight, help, and advice so many times. He was always so good about putting people ahead of policy (if you knew him well, you know what I mean). Clyde was one of those from a generation when people often say they dont make em like that anymore a true Icon that had so many talents as a people person. I was fortunate to fear him as a kid as you could hear his voice boom from a mile away when he was coming down the hall (when he was the asst. principal at John Deere Jr. High)......kids would scatter! I even got the paddle from Clyde. But later in life as an educator, you could not ask for a better boss. He simply loved life and often shared past experiences and stories with pride and love. He loved talking about his kids, his step daughter, and especially his wife Sharon. The love and happiness would simply pour out of him when conversations came up about family, which was always first ahead of Work. I was glad I got to see him one last time before I moved to Wyoming. I only regret that I didnt spend more time around him. Clyde Storbeck.....rest in peace, you truly deserve it!
