Beauty tips of the day: Defining your eyebrows can be tricking! Here are some tips to give your brows definition and making them be one of your best features! 1: Shape is everything! Knowing the shape of your face is key when deciding what shape you want for your brows! Figure out if your face shape is oval, round, long, square, heart, or diamond shaped. A square shape should be softened by a softly rounded brow, while round faces should have more arched angular brows! 2: Dont over pluck! Most of us think that getting really close to the mirror to see what needs cleaning up will give you a better shape. This can cause you to over pluck your brows and cause them to look uneven and thin. Instead stand about a foot away from the mirror to give yourself a better perspective, then you can get close to outline and define! 3: Use an eyebrow definer that is cream based first then apply a brow powder over the top to soften and give a more natural look. Use a thin slanted brush and line the top of your brows first then the bottom and fill in. Follow your brows shape so you dont over do it. Use a shade darker then your brow color unless you already have dark eyebrows naturally, then match your color. 4: Using a white or sheer pencil to hi-light your brow bone will instantly make your brows look defined and arched! 5: When plucking, to maintain your brows between waxing appointments, ALWAYS pull the hair out the direction it grows. Pulling your brow hairs out the opposite direction they grow can cause redness and bumps and causes your hair follicles to grow in thicker because you cause the hair to break under your skin which is why they can appear darker and more noticeable as they grow back. 6: Your Eyebrows should always START where the corner of your eye hits your nose and END about a 45 degree angle from the outside corner of your eye. This will also create the appearance of a thinner nose!
