Beazleys on Main St is closing. Another landmark, gone. From the owners: We are very sad to tell you that today we are closing the doors at Beazley Lanes for good. Today is the 39th anniversary of Allan buying the business. I have been involved for 32 years. With the recent decision of the landlord to tear down the rest of the building, that would impose upon us a greater share of the common area costs such as taxes and snow plowing. Our share was going from 35% to 86% and this is more than we can handle. Therefore we are now unemployed!!!! We will be remaining open over the next two weeks during 10-3 Mon-Fri as we are going to sell off as many assets as we can…..pins, ball,furniture etc. We wanted all of you, our friends, to know.
