Because I have an opinion on everything: The article below seems to me to be balanced without any of the...well frankly, bullshit that has been coming from the right wing blogosphere and fake news pages. The Bergdahls seem at worst to be a bit eccentric but that is not a crime. If he did desert then he should be punished but he was still a POW and fought with his captors in an escape attempt that the Taliban attests to. We should wait and let this pan out before making wild accusations. Please dont fall for the following bullshit: Obama is secretly a Muslim who is plotting with Muslims for a Muslim takeover of America and the reason he traded those Gitmo prisoners was a ruse to get them out and bring back home another secret Muslim to his secret Muslim parents. See how absurd this is? Speaking purely philosophically I consider myself at the minimum right of center with sympathies toward some solid right wing ideas. The problem is that practically speaking the right in America is an intellectual and cultural joke. (Yes the left is too. Please dont recriminate. Every time I criticize one I get complaints for not criticizing the other.) So in order to try and be as pure as possible I no longer filter the world and politics through that narrow channel. The right wingnuts are going apeshit over Obama breaking the law and some are hinting that this is some Vast-Left-Wing-Muslim-Conspiracy. Dont believe the hype. Be wise.
