Because I want people to understand that Black Australia has a very strong affiliation with Black America. And we always have, you know? Our heroes, growing up, were African-American. And when I was a young boy, and you know, I have to say that Im not surprised that a lot of, most Africa-Americans dont even realize that there are black people in Australia, but we certainly have been aware of you all.--- Tony Briggs, Director of the movie The Sapphires...
