Because not all of us are able to make a meal or visit with April… because many of us are not in town or able to get away from our busy schedules… here is your help source…. Here is a way YOU can make a difference and help the McFamily. Chemo isn’t going on sale come BLACK FRIDAY… trust me if it did we would have one heck of a crowd lining up outside the doors for April. From what I have been blessed to see we all have one thing in common… we all care and love this woman and her family a whole lot. We all feel pain and ache to think this is April’s reality… I know I’m not alone when I say I sometimes feel helpless and don’t know what to do or say… for me the only way to cope with this has been to ACT… whether it’s to pray in that very moment or rack my brain on how to help this family. I imagine most of us share this feeling of helplessness but I want you to know you CAN help. I know we are coming up on the holidays and every commercial, every radio station and every screen we set our eyes on will be luring us to buy buy buy. I hope that the people that surround and love April will be touched in a new way this season. I hope that we are all able to see what this time of year really means and brings out in us… and I hope most we focus on GIVING rather than receiving. April has been a true example of what it’s like to walk a selfless life and serve others. Now is our chance to show her that we see her, we know her and we are here for her… no matter our own circumstances.
