Because of the flu, new visitor policies are in place at your Indianapolis VAMC. Effective today, we join with the Indianapolis Coalition for Patient Safety to implement the Tier 1 patient visitation policy during this flu season. This policy includes restricting visitors with influenza-like illness, fever or cough; restricting visitors under age 18 and restricting visitation to immediate family for inpatients.
