Because of the new restrictions on watering (which arent really new, but were in a drought and even though weve cut back on water usage considerably in the past ten years, they keep calling for more cutbacks and raising the water rates - because their overhead costs havent dropped, but volume of water sold has), were going to quit watering the front lawn and Brian is going to start putting pine needles down. Which should annoy the hell out of the tree hating neighbor, because her petulant self can be found multiple times a week out there with her blower blowing the needles from our pine trees back onto our property. Im sure it will bother her to see those needles being put to good use. Save water and irritate the neighbor. A win-win situation.
