Because of where I live, I have to use the lift everyday. Sometimes, it is: pleasant, horrible, just average, and of course, plain awkward taking the lift. You have the ones glued to their devices, the ones who just stare at you(not in a friendly manner, mind you), the judgers, the loud ones, the ones with something in their ears, (chatting or listening to music)and the shy, hurry-up-and-reach-my-floor-already types, and the impatient ones. (More types of course, but wont get into that now). So anyway, sometimes I get a hello and its nice, other times they stare at my leg tattoo. Today, though, was one of those awkward moments of silence and something in me wanted to say out loud, Well this is awkward!, but I did not. I found it quite funny actually and was feeling a bit mischievous. I wondered who would have responded had I said that. Ive always wanted to try something funny in the elevator.
