Because there are still so many people I know turning their kids car seats around way too soon, please read and educate yourselves on the dangers of forward facing too soon! Kids under 2 are almost 5 times more likely to be injured in an accident while forward facing. And I know people who have turned their 9 month old around just because she was 20 lbs and their pediatrician said it was ok! Ridiculous. Its never too late to turn them back around either! Alice is 26 months and rear facing. Her seat will accommodate her weight in the rear facing position until 40 lbs and she is only 29 lbs now. I dont care if she may be happier facing forward. She is SAFER rear facing and that is always my number one concern, as it should be for every parent. Dont turn them around just because everyone else does. Your childs safety should not be about peer pressure! I want all your kiddos to be safe. PLEASE just do some research. It may save their lives.
