Becoming a leader in our dojo has been one of the hardest jobs I have had to undertake. Not only did I have to work out my own effective training drills to help students improve but these karateka who I spent so much time standing alongside I now had to lead myself through instructional guidance, not easy for the students either to take commands from someone who was once only their training mate. I found this very short clip from a couple of years ago, thought I would share with you. Im pretty proud of the trainer I have become, took a different type of discipline to develop & appreciate this side of training.
