Becoming a mum and being a good one is one of the most rewarding - TopicsExpress

Becoming a mum and being a good one is one of the most rewarding things a woman can do. This might sound like a cliché but most mums will definitely agree with me. Absolutely nothing compares to seeing your bundle of joy grow every day. However, despite the fact that ‘mummy-hood’ is a natural thing, it is also a demanding task. Most people who really know me will also know that my passion for all things pregnancy began when I lost my own pregnancy at about seven months. This bitter experience and the sudden realisation that many women struggle to conceive and carry a pregnancy to full term led me on a journey during which I have carried out a lot of research, consulted with several pregnancy experts, enrolled on a fertility therapy course and began a PhD. As you can imagine, I have picked up a lot of information along the way. Perhaps the most important things I have discovered so far are: - Many women struggling to conceive or have a successful pregnancy do not necessarily have fertility or medical problems. Sometimes, all that is needed is to make small but consistent changes to diet and lifestyle to get the right balance for pregnancy to occur. - Some traditional or accepted tips used by women all over the world are very useful while others are quite harmful. - The health and wellbeing of children throughout their lives depend greatly on their mothers’( and fathers’) health before and during pregnancy. I have compiled some tips for women who are planning to conceive and those who are already pregnant in a PDF document. In it you will find simple and easy things to do make the journey to mummy-hood a little easier. It is free to download, just click here bit.ly/1mUaT2s. If you already received a copy of the previous Pre-pregnancy MOT document, this has more information – Version 2.0 :) Good luck to all mums and mums-to-be out there!
