An exciting design project between Welspun and Art for Akanksha resulted in a bed linen collection for children, created by children. The ‘I love my planet’ collection designed by the talented Art for Akanksha design class students was launched under the flagship brand Spaces by Welspun at Oberoi mall, Mumbai on June 1, 2014. Welspun’s initiative found a perfect fit with Art for Akanksha’s objectives - - of enabling children to EXPRESS themselves by helping them learn a visual language to discover, create and tell their stories. - of providing an EXPERIENCE of what art can do, what opportunity can do, and what a great education can do. The collection is now available across retails selling home furnishing products under the Spaces brand.
