It turns out TJ is quite a bit older than the shelter originally thought. He is actually 15 yrs old. His owner was finally contacted, and they dont want him back. It seems he has some vision issues (he can still see, just the beginning of cataracts), he is in serious need of a dental, and a grooming. He is however quite spunky for an older gentleman. This is probably why he was presumed to be younger. He is in need of a senior loving home to enjoy the rest of his days. TJ is said to be good with children. cats, and other dogs. He is house trained, micro-chipped. and neutered. As always, we know that this will upset folks, as we dont understand not wanting a senior pet. We do ask though that we keep the focus on TJ, and not the former owners.
