Bedtime is a special time with our children. Utilize the time to talk about their day and share stories with them about our Sages (why expose them to stories that are contrary to Torah values when we have so many beautiful stories that will teach about character refinement and encourage Torah values). Say Shema with them, kiss them goodnight and tell them what a special gift from Hashem they are. Doing so will create a bond with them for life and help them develop the self-esteem that will guide them throughout their lives.
