Bedtime story: Today was PEFA day...I caught up with Big Red, but she was being harassed by Crows, and was not able to set long enough for me to get a photo. Shes fine though--pesky Crows are part of life for an RTH. Sooo, I spent some time with Mr. and Mrs. PEFA. Heres a composite image with the male (I think) on the right, and the lovely female on the left. I got to watch them preen and fly on and off the ledges of Bradfield. The male did quite a bit of vocalizing as well--first time Ive ever heard the PEFA call...wow! Enjoy and sweet dreams.
