Beef Recall, Any Questions? You may have heard a local meat company has recalled 1.8 million pounds of ground beef over concerns about E.coli contamination. Wolverine Packaging says it launched the voluntary recall as a precaution. 11 people have fallen ill in 4 states, including 5 in Michigan. The meat was distributed to restaurants and retail outlets. No list of specific restaurants has been made public. We do know some of the meat was sent to GFS Marketplace stores in Michigan. Does news of the recall bring any particular questions to your mind?
