Beef order time! I am organizing a custom beef order with Trinity Farms, a local custom beef farm in Harvest, AL. They have natural beef, no hormones, no pesticides, no antibiotics. They do use a dewormer. Pastured cows. Prices for a processed beef are around $6.00/lb or slightly less- includes ground beef, steaks, filet mignon, and roasts. They sell in halves and quarters (which can be split between individuals- if you dont know who to split with, I need a group so just ask me!). Quarters are around $750 for 120 lbs. of processed beef and feed a small family for around 9 months to around one year. **Orders due by January 12**. Beef will be ready late January 2015. Deposit required, split by purchasers ($50/quarter). Beef is delivered. Next opportunity will be late spring.
