Been a couple weeks since Ive done a Beineke Strength & Conditioning throw back Thursday. This week features one of the most simple exercises, the farmers walk. Just simply pick it up and carry it. Taken from the world of competitive strongman, the farmers walk is a total body exercise that really hits the traps, grip strength, and core muscles. You really feel it in the core muscles with even the slightest shifting of the weight side to side and especially if any turns are completed in the course. Here I am carrying 180 pounds in each hand.
