Been a good week visiting family and friends with more to come. I like this time of year and i like the cooler weather. Solitude can also be nice. If my body allows me I ride my bicycle several times a week. Not always, but often go to Hazlet state park and campground for easy riding, and sometimes you are rewarded with the presence of much wildlife, as was the case today. Monday and Tuesdays the trails are open from hunting. I saw a multitude of deer and squirrels everywhere, as well as pheasants, ducks, red tail hawks, cranes, and perched right in front of me was a bald eagle. We checked each other out before he decided to leave. There is always wildlife there, but today was more abundant….anyhow the rest of the week i get to see more family and friends that i only see once or so a year. Did I say I like this time of year…….Merry Chrismas everybody!
